The Great Chestnut Experiment

Logo & branding for The Great Chestnut Experiment, a roast chestnut stand that popped up around Manhattan and Brooklyn’s holiday markets in 2023. Part of a larger regenerative forestry project, the pop-ups focused on repopularizing North American grown chestnuts.

In addition to a logo system, I illustrated a “toile de chestnut” for use at a Zabar’s pop-up in November. The seamless pattern highlights the rich history of roast chestnuts ands connects the project to the myriad elements of a chestnut tree.
